SCHOLARSHIPS, AGBAMI, NNPC/CHEVRON, TOTAL, NLNG, MTNF etc

AGBAMI, CHEVRON/NNPC, MTNF, FSB, NLNG, SPDC(already written), MUSTE, PTDF etc. Yet to apply? APPLY
General strategies ;

1) The exam is a great leveler : You 'very no doubt heard this advice when taking other tests, but it's still true. Familiarize yourself ahead of time with the directions for each section(knowledge of the test formats is handy)

2) USE ALLOTED TIME WISELY :Time can be a limiting factor, always work quickly and accurately because even the smartest could be feel helpless when the time is almost up

3) PACE YOURSELF :To make sure you have enough time to answer every question, pay close attention to the number of questions in each section and, again, the amount of time remaining on your screen timer. keep in mind : Try not to spend so much time on one question that you neglect others. Make an educated guess if you don't know the answer or if a question is too time consuming. You don't want to be forced to guess randomly at the end 'cos you've run out of time

4) READ THE QUESTIONS & ANSWERS THOROUGHLY : Before answering a question, determine exactly what's being asked. Avoid skimming a question or the possible answers; you may miss important information

5) STRIVE TO COMPLETE EACH SECTION : If you don't finish in the allotted time, you will receive scores as long as you 've worked on every section. But because the score reflects the number of questions answered, your score "might" decrease with each unanswered question. [JAMBITES take note too]

THE AMAZON MISTAKE

Maybe I was just careless or naive. The fact is I don't know how I feel - angry or excited, proud or silly ...maybe new things just have a way of getting to me.

Probably not that big, but this came as a shocker to me.

Reading some articles on Wikipedia, I checked out Amazon and went to the mobile site. I decided to create an account so that I could check out a textbook my friend told me about.

I willingly filled out my details including the digits/no clearly written on my little, recently acquired Master card from GTB - but of course, I withheld my password/pin (I guessed that gave me a margin of safety)

I only assume to have pressed the invisible button, ordering for a book; total cost of 82.4 USD. I was ignorant of the billing process(POS) , MY FAULT.

I didn't even have a final say, perhaps - only later did I get a text msg that #13,454.11 flew away from my Acct....but I keep on asking myself - "What happened to my 4-digit PIN!!!! OMG!

Well right now, I am just laughing out loud but sobbing silently - finding out this evening that the book actually costs #5,000(or less) only! in NG.

MY ADVICE : Pls guide your ATM cards, your PIN might not have a say in 'amazon.com' - JUST THE CARD NUMBER CLEARLY WRITTEN ON THE PLASTIC....lol *sobs*

WELL THAT'S THE STORY OF HOW I GOT MY KEITH MOORE (CLINICALLY ORIENTED ANATOMY)....and that's why I would hold it tight to my chest. Well till school resumes won't be using it extensively. LATER

JUST MEDICAL SCHOOL !

Six to seven months is a very long time. It can also be very boring when you are not seriously engaged. Well just finished pre-med and in the coming months (probably January next year), the journey through Medical school would actually begin.

Don’t actually know what is out there but intense study must be involved. I can remember hearing how worn out some folks are after maybe 2/3 years – they feel depressed, sucked out and wanting to roll back time . But I don’t think that is the same with all med. students.
The truth is medical school is actually going to be challenging and that I know. I would only do my best in keeping the fire burning, with determination, perseverance and faith.
From the enquiry I made (out of curiosity) , I came to know the courses involved in the very 1st year of study which are – Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry alongside the branches Neuroanatomy, Embryology, Histology and all that.
Being enthusiastic, I intend finding out the materials to be used. But I am still not  “hyper” to get any now cos “Keith Moore’s Clinically Oriented Anatomy” is just big enough.
That textbook came with a story – I  would go back to it later.
Well I would just Watch out as the months elapse and school resumes. I intend sharing my experience
