Something of this nature had been perpetrated before in 2013.

I quote "....The website of the University of Lagos College of Medicine, http://www.cmul.edu.ng/, has been hacked. When it was done, no one could tell, but as at this morning (June 17) the landing page of the website contains claims by two hackers identifying themselves as "HustLerZ" and "Parrain" is displaying gibberish which our in-house nerds say is part of a javascript program used to hack the site via what they called "SQL injection".
It is not known as at press time if the University authourities and the authorities of the College of Medicine are aware of this situation and what measures they are taking to end the e-siege "  - Source : http://unilagnews.com/news/general/UNILAG-WEBSITE-HACKED.html
And also, in 2012, where the site was allegedly tainted with obscene content. SOURCE [viewer discretion is advised]
One could only hope that by the end of the day, it's resolved
